The Last Matsuri

This post is long overdue because I went for this matsuri (summer festival) around August 2017, but only got around to posting it here!

Summer festivals are always fun. The excitement. The drums. The dancing. The vibe in the air. The street food. The smell of fried food rising in the air. The frozen jellies being sold.

A lot of my Malaysian and Singaporean friends don’t really like coming to Japan in the summer because they feel it’s not very different from the weather back home (which is true), but I think it’s such a nice time to come because you get to see tons of summer festivals or go for summer fireworks. It’s not all about the cherry blossoms, okay. Get over the cherry blossoms!!
