Sunday night and you’re feeling sluggish about going to work? Have no fear, because here are 5 ways to motivate yourself for Monday!
- It’s a fresh new start!
I personally LOVE Mondays. Every Sunday night, I go to bed quite happily thinking that finally, this will be the week that everything goes right and exactly the way I want it to be! Usually, by Wednesday, I’m proven wrong, but I always have hope that a new week symbolises a new beginning.
- Figure out your goals for the week
It’s hard to be motivated if you don’t know what you want to do. Have goals! Perhaps it can be three really important things you need to do at work that you HAVE to get finished no matter what, or it can be a personal goal like making sure you exercise and get your booty in shape!
- Have a quiet Sunday night
I always have the best weeks when I have a really zen Sunday night. If I’m out and about, coming home late, I wake up on Mondays feeling incredibly tired and lethargic. Have a hot bath or a nice shower, read a good book and go to sleep. You’ll feel a lot more rested, which will give you a lot more energy!
