Japanese Words I’m Learning – Part 3

I hope everyone is well and happy and remembers all the words in Part 1 and Part 2! The theme for this week is words that begin with S, and honestly, confuse me a lot. I hear these pretty often, and I keep mixing them up. Hopefully by writing these down, I’ll be able to remember them better!

Seikatsu– life

Sekai – world

Seikaku – accurate

Setsumei – description/explanation

Saisho – the first

Saikin– recently

Saigo – the last

To give you an example of how to us the word seikatsu, a question I’m commonly asked is, “Nihon no seikatsu wa dou desu ka?” which loosely translates to ‘How is life in Japan?’

If you missed Japanese Word I’m Learning, worry not! Check them out here.
