Fancy Oshare Brunch At Crista

When my friend Natalie, who works in the same team as my boyfriend does was about to leave Japan, her team organized a farewell for her and I shamelessly tagged on. We went to Crista, a brunch spot nestled cozily in between Shibuya and Aoyama. Crista is quintessential Aoyama in my opinion, it’s high end and cozy, all at the same time.

Oshare is the Japanese word for high class and fancy, pretty much the same as how Malaysians and Singaporeans use atas. So if you’re ever in the mood of feeling like a fancy tai tai (wealthy married woman), then head on over to Crista.

I’m going to let the food do the talking below. Brunch here costs about 3000 yen per person, which is pretty pricy, but service is great and food is really delicious. It’s a nice place to treat yourself!

Behold!

I would definitely recommend this place for people looking for a great brunch with excellent service in nice ambience. Crista is owned by the same company who runs Criss Cross, another of my favourites in Tokyo. It’s also very baby friendly for those with children. I’ve discovered that here in Tokyo, not too many cafes are baby friendly (which I find quite surprising!)
