Brooklyn Parlor in Shinjuku

There are some days where you wake up and think, damn, I really want to eat a burger.

Like, a massive, huge-ass burger that can’t fit in my mouth.

OK, that’s actually not the reason why I went to Brooklyn Parlor. The real reason was that I wanted to go to Marui, a department store, and get a credit card. Brooklyn Parlor was nearby and I wanted to cajole my boyfriend to come with me so I decided to bribe him with a nice, delicious, juicy burger.

Anyway, Brooklyn Parlor is a really nice place. It’s huge, especially for Tokyo standards, and can fit about 140 people. It’s also very relaxed, and despite it being busy, you don’t feel rushed or like that you need to get out to make space for people.

I went for the soup set that came with minestrone.

Took some pictures of the surroundings while waiting for my food. See, it's huge!

There’s also a nice bookshelf where you can take books and thumb through them, or buy them if you want.
Restaurant is dotted with chairs, tables and couches.
This is my boyfriend’s burger – the basic burger with blue cheese as a topping.

Look, it’s really big.
Boyfriend asked me to stop taking photos and start eating because he was very hungry.
I had some form of difficulty in trying to stuff the burger in my mouth.

So, in the mood for large burgers? Here’s the Google map link how to get there.
